Pray

Prayer is not the step before. It is the work.

Since we began serving as missionaries, we have learned that some things do not move forward any other way. Translation, literacy, relationships with the community — all of it has a component that escapes technology and method.

If you want to pray for us regularly, here you will find concrete requests, with dates. Not generic ones.

Current requests

June 2026

Wisdom for the literacy team as they prepare new materials with the nomatsiguenga community.

June 2026

That the teams Pepe supports in Colombia and Brazil can use the AI tools with confidence in their own contexts.

May 2026

Our family’s adjustment to life at the BMA — the children, the routine, what we miss and what we discover.

Give

Giving is not sponsoring a project. It is sustaining a family who has already decided to stay and serve full-time.

Our support is not an institutional salary: it comes from people and families who believe in this work enough to sustain it, month after month. Those who give are not funding someone else’s project — they become part of this story, even if they never set foot in the jungle. Paul summed it up in 2 Corinthians 9:7: that each person should give as they have decided in their heart, not out of pressure or habit, because God cares about the joy behind the gift, not just the amount.

How it works

1

Choose a frequency. It can be a one-time gift or a monthly commitment. Either one helps.

2

Follow the details for that option. Each method has its own process — bank transfer, PayPal, or direct contact.

3

Write to us. If you give, we would love to know who you are — so we can tell you directly how the work is going.

Share

If you know someone who should hear about this, that is already taking part.

If what you read here matters to you, you can tell someone else about it. Sharing this is not advertising: it is extending the same network we talk about throughout this site — the more people who know about it, the less alone we are in this work.
